My Lover's Bed
My Lover's Bed
My nerves frayed and
Sleep could not be not found,
I run to my lover's bed
Where safety holds me
And passion finds me.
When I lie in his arms
And he kisses me softly,
As his hands explore
My body below.
In my lover's bed,
I tremble at his command,
Seduced by his voice
As his fingers slip inside
Moving, teasing until I climb
To height of pleasure.
I climax again and again
Under him, with him
And then, relaxed, I slip
Into the reality of him,
Who has all my trust.
In my lover's bed,
A bed not my own,
In my lover's bed—
I ponder the thought of
How sweet it must feel to be
The woman my lover loves.
